David Smith Radon, Inc. offers some of the highest quality products available. The limits of all warranties extend only to products sold and not to any damage or claim resulting from individual contractor use, installation, or application of the same products.
All prices and specifications are subject to change without notice. Balances past due will be subject to a service charge of 1.5% per month. All returned checks will incur a $40.00 bank fee.
Returned items must be unused and in the original carton. A restocking fee of 10% will be applied to all non-defective, returned merchandise.
Shipping and handling is additional and is not refundable. Shipping will be via Spee Dee Delivery or UPS Ground unless alternatively specified.
WARRANTY
Please contact us directly regarding any fan warranty questions or issues. We will claim a warranty through the manufacturer, Festa Radon Technologies, on your behalf.
Below is the manufacturer warranty:
Festa Radon Technologies warrants that the Festa Radon Technologies Radon Fan Line (“the Products”) shall be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of five (5) years from the date of purchase by the original purchaser of the fan.
If, within the applicable warranty period, the Products prove to be defective by reason of faulty workmanship or materials, Festa Radon Technologies will undertake to have the defective product (or any part thereof) replaced at no cost to the customer, subject to the following conditions:
- The Product has been purchased and used solely in accordance with all Radon Mitigation Standards and recommendations, and state and local codes of practice.
- The Product is returned promptly on being found defective, together with this warranty and proof of date of installation. It must be shipped to the Festa Radon Technologies company from whom the Product was purchased. All warranty claims must be made through Festa Radon Technologies.
- This warranty shall not apply to any Product failure or defect due to any cause beyond the reasonable control of Festa Radon Technologies, including:
- Damage caused through fire, flood, explosion, accident, misuse, neglect, incorrect adjustment or repair
- Damage caused through installation, adaptation, modification or use in an improper manner or inconsistent with the technical and/or safety standards required where the Product is used
- Damage occurring during transit to or from the customer
- If at any time during the Warranty Period, any part or parts of the Product are replaced with parts not supplied or approved by Festa Radon Technologies, or the Product has been dismantled or repaired by any person not authorised by Festa Radon Technologies, the company shall have the right to terminate this warranty in whole or in part immediately, without further notice.
- Festa Radon Technologies’ decision on all matters relating to complaints and Product defect failures (alleged or actual) shall be final. Any Product or defective part which has been replaced shall become the property of Festa Radon Technologies.
- Festa Radon Technologies will offer customers a warranty of a full five (5) years, from the date of purchase, in accordance with the terms listed above.
